Intensives

Back-BendIntensives are a good opportunity to really further your practice. Intensives are offered during the term breaks and usually run for 3-5 days, in the evening, mid-morning or early morning. Attending classes on consecutive days can increase flexibility and strength and give students a sense of the shifts and changes that can come from a regular practice. Practicing early in the morning gets the day off to a good start, and creates a feeling of space even in the busiest of lives. It can make us more focused, clear and concentrated in whatever we do during the day.  Intensives generally begin with standing poses with some strength work and headstand and shoulderstand.
